What is AgrAbility?

 

The AgrAbilityProject assists people with disabilities who work in agriculture. The Cooperative Extension Service works with a private non-profit disability service agency to provide practical education and assistance for you. The Project works with small and large businesses.



What kind of programs and services are available?

 

The AgrAbility staff provide:



Who is Eligible?

 

Those eligible for AgrAbility services may have any type of disability. It can be physical, cognitive, or illness-related. For example:

 

  • Amputation
  • Diabetes
  • Arthritis
  • Mental Illness
  • Back Injury
  • Multiple Sclerosis
  • Blindness or Vision Impairment
  • Muscular Dystrophy
  • Cancer
  • Post-Polio Syndrome
  • Cardiac Problem
  • Respiratory Problem
  • Cerebral Palsy
  • Spinal Cord Injury
  • Cognitive Impairment
  • Stroke
  • Deafness or Hearing Impairment
  • Traumatic Brain Injury

 

 

What does the ArgAbility Project Cost?

 

There are no costs for most of the services offered through the AgrAbility Project.
